Integrated Diseases Surveillance Project [ IDSP ] was started in November 2004 by the Government of India under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare for detecting early symptoms of high diseases to take initiative steps. It operates under National Institute of Communicable Diseases [ NICD ] which was established in July 1963. It is a centre of excellence for controlling of communicable diseases.
An advertisement has been published for the recruitment of Consultants on contractual basis and placement will be in Central Surveillance Unit of World Bank Assisted Integrated Surveillance Project at IDSP, NCDC, New Delhi. Only Indian Nationals are eligible and can come for an interview on 5th and 6th July 2011.
2 posts are for Advisors for the discipline of Epidemiology and Microbiology with the remuneration of Rs. 100000/- per month consolidated. For this post, candidates age should be between 45 – 65 years of age. 10 vacancies are for the post of Consultants as Microbiologists, Epidemiologists, Human Resource and IT Team Leader. Candidates applying for this post should not be more than 60 years and will get salary of Rs. 40000 – Rs. 50000/- per month. 1 post is for Management Expert and 1 is for Communication Officer . Both of these posts, Rs. 40000/- will be salary and age limit should be maximum 45 years. 1 post is for Documentation Officers with Rs. 30000 – Rs. 40000/- as salary and maximum age should be 45 years. 1 post is for Training Manager. For this post candidates age should not be more than 40 years and will get Rs. 21000/- per month as salary. 2 posts are for Media Scanning Assistantsand for this maximum age should be 45 years and Rs, 11000/- will be salary.
