Job Description
Provides input to the development of HR strategies that impact business units within a major line of business.
Develops and executes tactical plans at the business unit level to achieve strategic objectives.
May consult with HR Executives and HR Managers in the development of these tactical plans.
Working knowledge on efficient Recruitment and compensation planning activities. Excellent written and spoken communication, leadership and influencing skills with a proven track record to provide HR solutions.
Ability to understand tasks in the context of broader process, seeing connections between steps.
Experience in working with a minimal supervision or direction, while identifying opportunities and taking initiative to see them through to execution.
Demonstrates analytical skills and the ability to represent numbers graphically.
Demonstrates high level of mastery in Excel and Power point using some of the more complex functions
Responsibilities
Act as a strategic HR Business Partner for the identified business groups in support functions & Technology.
Provide HR solutions to the entire gamut of HR areas.
Coach, develop and guide managers to enable them to effectively manage their people.
Act as a change agent during acquisitions / re-organization / large scale business changes
Partner with all HR partners and ensure efficient delivery of requisite services.
Work with the business to obtain the initial hiring approvals
Where appropriate and practicable, participate in the interview process for senior hires and also Campus hiring
Work closely with recruiting in determining new hire compensation packages
Partner with L&D to ensure that the business’s training needs are assessed and delivered
Ensure data quality/accuracy. Prepare and handle sensitive and confidential material.
